For treatment of acute bacterial conjunctivitis

Treatment of acute bacterial conjunctivitis.

Adults, the elderly and children 2 years and over: Apply about 1cm of ointment to the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily.

If using chloramphenicol drops during the day and ointment at night, apply the ointment before going to bed.

Course of treatment is 5 days. Any remaining ointment should be discarded after this.
