Yes. We run identity checks in the background using a company called LexisNexis Risk solutions. If you fail these initial checks then you may be asked to provide additional information.
They are an accredited company who we use to check the identity of our customers because they have advanced biometric technology and are trusted for their security and safety. They do not have any access to your medical records - they simply work to verify your identity.
This does not mean your order will not go through successfully, it just means that LexisNexis Risk Solutions weren't able to verify you upon doing the initial checks. You will receive an email from LexisNexis Risk Solutions with instructions as to what documents they require to complete your check. Once you've done this, your order will continue through our process as normal.
Our prescribers issuing the private prescription will be a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber registered with the GPhC. There registration details can checked by clicking on the following link: https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registers/pharmacist/registrationnumber/2079656. All prescriber decisions are final and will not be overridden or challenged.
If our Pharmacist prescribers feel that they would like to discuss any further points about the medical information provided then they will be in contact with you before approving or refusing the order. However, if they have decided that the order is not appropriate then you will notified by email explaining the reason for refusal.
If you experience any side effects or require any urgent medical attention then you should contact a doctor or emergency service on 999 (depending on the severity). Alternatively, you can contact NHS 24 during out of hours such as the weekend or public holidays. You can also send us an email on info@completeonlinepharmacy.co.uk where the pharmacist can respond to your query regarding side-effects. You can also report side-effects via the Yellow Card Scheme (MHRA) by clicking on the following link https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
You can see who issued the prescription by visiting your account. This will list the name and registration number of the prescriber. You can check the registration of the Pharmacist by visiting https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registers/pharmacist.
