What is Marvelon?
Marvelon, a combination birth control pill composed of desogestrel and ethynylestradiol, when taken properly, prevents pregnancy.
Birth control pills are not 100 percent effective. The only way to totally avoid getting pregnant is through surgery to become sterile or not having sex. Always discuss with your doctor your options about birth control.
Marvelon doesn't prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. It is not useful as an emergency contraception, such as after an unprotected sexual contact.
Marvelon is available only with a doctor’s prescription.

Marvelon has the following benefits:
Take one Marvelon pill every day for 21 days, followed by seven days of no pills.
Start the new pack of Marvelon on the day immediately following the last day of the seven pill-free days.

Active ingredients
Marvelon contains 150mg of desogestrel and 30mg of ethinylestradiol.
Inactive ingredients
